Music plays an integral role in life and worship at the United Church of Rowayton. Choirs are an extension of the pulpit and through music, we “make a joyful noise unto the Lord.”

Adult Choir

Our dedicated Adult Choir strives for excellence, and faithfully prepares a varied repertoire to musically enhance the congregation’s worship experience. This group has mastered major works and performed several times at Carnegie Hall, with other choirs from around the world, at residences for Seniors, and in community events. Adult Choir rehearsals begin in September and continue through the end of May, meeting on Thursdays at 7:30 PM. All are welcome to join. The Adult Choir is directed by Marsha Hall.

Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir rehearses Sunday mornings beginning in October. Under the direction of Children’s Choir Director Judi Livingston, children share in the fun of raising their voices in joyous songs of praise, bringing joy to the entire congregation.

Adult Handbell Choir

The Adult Handbell Choir rehearsals begin in September and meets on Thursdays at 6:30 PM. The exciting repertoire employs many interesting and challenging bell techniques. This choir has performed in music festivals and in the community. The Adult Handbell Choir is directed by Marsha Hall.

Youth Handbell Choir

I felt inspired to look more closely at my life and to love more deeply. Pastor John’s messages pull from music, literature, life experience, and ultimately God’s unending love for us, and his words are heartfelt and have a lasting effect.

New and Alternative Music Programs
