To Whom It May Concern:
On behalf of the Board of Christian Outreach (BOCO) of The United Church of Rowayton, I am pleased to announce that we will once again be accepting applications for the Emig Grant.
Through the Emig Grant program, BOCO awards grants of up to $10,000 to agencies that help in-need people in Norwalk. Grants are to be used for specific projects, not for general operating and administrative expenses. The section about the project is the part of the application that we are especially interested in.
Agencies applying for the grant must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code and involved in work to improve the lives of those in need in the greater Norwalk area.
Applications are due no later than January 11, 2025. Funding decisions will be announced on February 15, 2025.
