To Whom It May Concern:
On behalf of the Board of Christian Outreach (BOCO) of The United Church of Rowayton, I am pleased to announce that after a year hiatus due to the coronavirus, we have restarted the Emig Fund grant program.
Through the Emig Fund grant program, BOCO may award grants of up to $10,000 to agencies for charitable, religious, literacy, and educational purposes. Grants are to be used for specific projects, not for general operating and administrative expenses.
Agencies applying for the grant must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code and involved in work to improve the lives of those in need in the greater Norwalk area.
Applications are due no later than November 15, 2021. Funding decisions will be announced on February 15, 2022.
Applications and further information can be found at our website at https://www.ucrowayton.org/available-2-emig-fund-application/. Or you can send a request for an application or direct any questions to me at boco.ucr@gmail.com.
