Biannual Tag Sale – June 1, 2019

Start cleaning out your closets/attics and garages!

Plans are underway for our Giant Tag Sale.  Over the years this event has attracted people from Greenwich to Bridgeport to New Haven.  As much as this is a fundraiser for our Church, it also is a local outreach effort of great importance to many.  This sale has raised over $300,000 for our Church operating budget, which also feeds our outreach efforts.

Every year this sale grows bigger and bigger and requires more help and time to get organized.  We used to start setup on Memorial Day, but it isn't enough time so now we will begin setting up tables and shelving on Saturday, May 26 in preparation for receiving goods on Memorial Day, Monday 27th.

Workers are needed from May 26th through June 4th or until we have the Meeting House "back to normal."  Sign-up sheets in the Meeting House list all the ways you can help for each day.  You can be a sorter, a tagger, a pricer, a receiver, a seller, a baker or a security guard.  Sign up for an hour or a day.  It will be fun and rewarding.

We also need people to help clean-up after the event.  There are jobs for EVERYONE!

This is also a fun event and it's a great way to get acquainted with other members and friends of our Family of Faith. If you are new to our Church, it's a great way to meet so many new people.

Please take a moment today and sign up in the Meeting House Lobby.  You may also sign up on the Church web site:
