We invite and encourage you to participate in worship and any of the other activities in our ministries and programs. Ours is a growing and vital Congregation. Becoming a part of our Church family is simple. A New Member Gatherings are held every Fall for people who may be interested in becoming members and would like to know more about our Congregation. If you would like to attend these gatherings, please call the church office at (203) 866-1415.
The New Member Orientation involves two short sessions that occur over a two-week period in October/November. These two sessions will be run by Pastor John Livingston. He will tell you about our Church and our denomination, the United Church of Christ, as well as provide other theological and Biblical information related to what it means to be part of a Family of Faith. The New Member Orientation is held at night and is a “mini” Confirmation class for adults.
After your two sessions, the Board of Deacons hosts a Sunday breakfast for new members. Then, during worship, new members will be warmly welcomed into our Family of Faith.
This year (2008), the New Member Gatherings will be held on Mondays October 28th and November 2nd at 7:30 pm. The breakfast and reception of new members will be held on Sunday, November 8th beginning at 9:00am.
